European Scientists Make Breakthrough in OLED Technology to Achieve Cheaper Lighting and Flexible Solar Cells

In more than three years of work European scientists finally made future lighting technology ready to market. They developed flexible lighting foils that can be produced roll-to-roll – much like newspapers are printed. These devices pave the path towards cheaper solar cells and LED lighting panels. The project named TREASORES was led by Empa scientist Frank Nüesch and combined knowhow from nine companies and six research institutes in five European countries.

Revolution Lighting Technologies Completes LED Lighting Retrofit in Lehman College Campus

Revolution Lighting Technologies, a leader in advanced LED lighting technology solutions, today announced the completion of an LED retrofit project with Lehman College, the Bronx-based senior college of the City University of New York. With a total investment of RMB 22 billion, the roadway was equipped with around 2,000 sets of OSRAM OLUX™ LED Spot H with 4000K color temperature.
